Product description:
Winslow Homer's 1894 watercolor Two-Masted Schooner with Dory depicts a two-masted schooner on calm water, with a smaller dory beside it. The boat's gray and black hull is reflected in the water in long, flowing streaks, while the sails are painted in light gray-brown tones. The simple watercolor-like expression gives the scene a calm and almost hazy character, where sky and water blend together.
The muted color palette makes the poster suitable for the living room or bedroom, where it can stand alone or become part of a gallery wall with other maritime motifs. The soft gray tones give the room a calm and subdued look.
